Can’t make it to the library? Let us bring the library to you!

The Winnetka-Northfield Public Library now offers home delivery of library materials to our cardholders who are homebound due to illness or disability, or who are no longer driving.

We can deliver all types of material with extended checkouts available. You can specify titles, or have one of our librarians choose items for you based on your preferences.

What materials can be delivered?

Patrons can receive our own items as well as items from other libraries in our consortium. Eligible items include: books, DVDs, Blu-Rays, audiobooks, Playaways, and magazines.

When do deliveries take place?

Items will be delivered by a library staff member, or a trained volunteer, every two weeks.

Are there any fees?

This service is free of charge. All policies, including fees and limits, apply to those receiving homebound services.
