Guidelines

  • WNPLD cardholders will be given priority for event registration. All others will be placed on a waiting list until one week prior to the event.
  • The Studio has a maximum capacity of six simultaneous projects during drop-in hours, if at capacity patrons may be asked to return later.
  • Patrons are responsible for preparing their designs and completing their projects. The Studio staff are available to help troubleshoot and answer questions.
  • Patrons are encouraged to bring in their own materials for scheduled appointments and drop-in sessions.
  • The creative process often involves a lot of trial-and-error, so we suggest patrons bring in spare materials.

Restrictions

The makerspace equipment cannot be used to create anything that:

  • Violates local, state, or federal law.
  • Could be used as or simulates weaponry.
  • Is not appropriate in a library environment.
  • Violates copyright or trademark protections.
