Janome Horizon Memory Craft 15000
This computer-controlled sewing machine can stitch intricate embroidery patterns, lettering, monograms or images onto fabric secured in place by an embroidery hoop at a speed of up to 1,000 stitches per minute.
Materials that can be used
With this machine, users can create custom embroidery images, quilting, text designs and monograms on plain fabric or pre-made fabric items such as quilts, clothing, gifts or tote bags.

Design preparation & software
Over 400 designs, 10 text fonts and three monogram fonts are available for use. Custom designs can be created with Janome Digitizer MBX software available at the Library. Pre-made designs can be purchased on CD from fabric or craft stores.
Cost to use
There is no charge to use the embroidery machine. The Studio provides embroidery thread and fabric stabilizer for a small fee, based on the number of stitches in your design. You will be able to see how many stitches are in a design when it is uploaded to the machine. You may bring your own thread to be approved for use. Bring fabric or a fabric item to be embroidered.
- THREAD PER 1,000 STITCHES (includes Stabilizer) – $1.00
- STABILIZER SHEET – $1.00
How to get started
The library offers creative project courses to help you get started with the machine. All job files must be approved by The Studio staff. The machine is available for walk-in use unless an embroidery class is in session.
