The Director, Information Technology Manager and Administrative Assistant are the designated Freedom of Information Act Officers. The Officers may be reached 9AM to 5PM Monday through Friday at the Winnetka Library. To contact the FOIA Officers by phone, please call 847-446-7220. Please note: information requests must be in writing; phone requests will not be honored.
To Request Information:
All Freedom of Information Act requests must be received in writing either in letter format or by email. They should be addressed to:

All requestors must provide their full name, address, telephone number, and a complete description of the records or information that they want. The library will respond to personal requests within 5 business days after receipt of the request and to commercial requests within 21 days after receipt of the request.
Fees for Copies:
The first 50 pages of black and white, letter or legal sized paper are free. After the first 50 pages, the library will charge $.10 per page.
The library will charge $1.00 per page for all color copies.
The library will charge the actual cost of reproduction for all electronic copies (disks, tapes, etc.).
