If you can find an item that you want in our catalog that includes all libraries in the consortium, press the “Place Hold” button to have it sent to us. If you would like to borrow multiple copies of a single title for your book club, you can use this form.

If we don’t own an item and we cannot borrow it from a library in our shared catalog, we will try our best to get it from another library in Illinois. You can search for your item using Worldcat.  Sometimes there is a fee to borrow items from other libraries. If so, you will be notified of the fee before we order the item. Patrons are allowed ten interlibrary loan items at a time. If you have already requested or have checked out ten items, your request will be placed on hold until you return an interlibrary item or cancel another request.
