Nonfiction for a Sunday Afternoon: Author Visit
- Discuss the book "Paris Without End: The True Story of Hemingway's First Wife" by Gioia Diliberto with the author! "Paris Without End" provides an intimate glimpse into the life of Hadley Richardson, Ernest Hemingway’s first wife, a woman who would have an inestimable effect on the author’s life and writing. During the talk, Gioia Diliberto will explore their passionate courtship, their family life in Paris with baby Jack, and their fiery, tumultuous relationship severely damaged by Hadley’s loss of the only copy of Hemingway’s first novel and ultimately destroyed by a devastating ménage à trois on the French Riviera. Books are available at the Checkout Desk a month prior to the discussion.
