Downloadable Books & Media

The Winnetka-Northfield Public Library offers a variety of books, audiobooks and videos that you can download and use whenever you like.  Because this is a new and developing service there are some system requirements which may be  insurmountable for some users.  We are always trying to improve our service and will continue to do our best to make these services available to all users as soon as there are viable alternatives. There are some limitations on what downloadable materials will work on iOS (iPod, iPhone and iPad) devices and Mac computers. My Media Mall

My Media Mall offers audiobooks, ebooks and videos which can be downloaded to your personal computer and enjoyed anywhere on a wide range of portable devices including MP3 players (iPods), iPhones, Android Phones, Kindles, Nooks and even burned to CD.

To get started, go to the My Media Mall site, sign on with your library card number, and install the free software for your computer (both Mac & PC). MyMediaMall uses the Overdrive Media Console which is available for a variety of platforms including iPhone/iPad, Android, Blackberry, and Windows Mobile.
