The Friends of the Library enrich and enhance the library experience for the residents of the Library district. This special group of volunteers supports extraordinary projects.

  • Summer reading programs
  • Historical dramatic performances
  • Art, travel, food and cooking programs
  • Book clubs for all ages

Annual, memorial, honorary and other donations are accepted throughout the year. To date, the Friends have raised over $300,000. Donate to the Friends of the Library using the button below:
 

 
The Friends are recognized by the IRS as a 501c3 organization. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. Support your Library and community!
 
The Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District Foundation has been dissolved. Donations may be made to directly to the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District or given to the Friends of the Library. For more information regarding donations please contact Rebecca Wolf, Library Director at rwolf@winnetkalibrary.org.

Meetings

The Friends of the Library organization meets several times a year at either the Winnetka or Northfield Branch Library. The next meeting is at 7pm, February 2, 2017 at the Winnetka Library in the Winnetka Community Room.
