A club for brick builders. We create cool stuff in an hour. Grades 2 and up. Registration required.
How do I place a hold?
- Search the catalog for an item
- You will get a list of search results. To the right of each is a green button that allows you to place a hold on the item
- Click on the orange Place Hold button
- You can also place a hold from this screen from within an individual item result (using the orange button just under the availability listings)
- When the hold is active the catalog will show a 'Cancel Hold' option next to the title
Note: BiblioCommons does not yet allow you to place holds on individual volumes of a multi-volume set (e.g. a TV series set with multiple discs.) We are working with Bibliocommons to implement this feature and hope it will be available soon.
In the meantime, you can still place volume-specific holds using the old catalog, or you can simply give us a call at (847)446-7220 and we will gladly place the hold for you.
