What is the library to you? What should it look like in the future? New technologies are changing the ways people are obtaining and using information and the ways they want to use their libraries. Many libraries are responding by offering new services. Click on the photos of Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District residents below to see what ideas they have for the future of the library.
The Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District wants to know what you think of the library and what you would like it to look like in the future. By completing our community survey, your opinion on library services, facilities, and materials will be used to develop the library's next strategic plan. We're putting the library's future in your hands.
The last time the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District surveyed the community was 1997. This year, the library district hired the research firm L.C. Williams & Associates to establish what the community's needs are, and find out what you think the library's role in the community should be.
L.C. Williams and Associates will mail our community survey to each household in the library district in late October. Please fill it out and return it to us, either online or by mail. You can help write the library's future.
